Use this EFI Harness to install 1986-89 TPI 5.0L and 5.7L V8 engines using a MAF sensor or Mass Air Flow system. GM computer chip or VATS module may be required. The Painless TPI harnesses will control the torque converter lockup function in a 200R4 or 700R4 transmission but will not control electronic transmissions such as the 4L60E or 4L80E.

The extra length harness features an extra four feet of ECM wiring. The standard length harness will allow the ECM to be mounted under the dash while the extra length harness allows the ECM to be mounted an additional four feet away, such as under the seat of the vehicle.
